Department of Microbial Technology [DMT] is one of the statutory departments in the School of Biological Sciences. UGC extended financial support under COSIST and DSA. This department is also part of the CAS in Functional Genomics.
The faculty of Department of Microbial Technology have guided more than [1] 50 Ph.D., students, [2] published nearly 300 research papers [3] established collaboration with scientists from USA, Canada, Germany, France and Brazil and have attracted research grants close to 10 crores.
